Step and Repeat Stand Setup
This shows our 8x8 and 8x10 step and repeat stands fully extended to 8 feet tall and 8 full width. I set this up at home to give everyone an appreciation of how tall 8 feet really is. The door in the background is a standard size door. Note that the 8x8 does not have a center support post. The 8x10 and 8x12 stands have a center support post.
All of the parts are carried in a strong canvas case with handles and a shoulder strap. The stand and case weigh about 5 pounds
The first step is assembling the feet to the side supports. Slide the side support post into the foot and attach with one screw up through the bottom. Very simple..... Note that the 8x8 stands have a single foot at each side of the stand. The 8x10 and 8x12 stands have an extra piece for each foot to help support the extra weight and size. This image shows the feet for the 8x10 and 8x12 backdrops. Note that the 8x8 stands do not have these heavy duty feet.
Once both supports are attached to the feet you are through the toughest part of the setup. Pretty easy so far...right?
The top and bottom support poles are each a single piece. The poles are telescoping and will adjust to size. No tools required.
This is where the backdrop would be added to the stand. The backdrop has pole pockets and the lower support would slide through the bottom pole pocket. The bottom section is then attached to each of of the side supports.
The top pole is placed through the top pole pocket of the backdrop and the top pole attached to the side supports. No tools required.
The side supports are telescoping so once the backdrop is in place and the stand assembled; the last step is to adjust the side supports upward until the backdrop is fully extended and tight. That is all there is to the process. You are now ready to enjoy your event.
